This product the most easy to start ETL Open Source product. It has a good intuitive interface. One should also mention its advanced automated business software connectors. Apatar is written in Java by a young company from Belarus. At the time of product evaluation (a year ago) I found Apatar to be really slow on relatively big data volumes (>100 000 records) when then SugarCRM connector was involved.

Apatar

Actually, Apatar is a subsidiary of more bigger company Altoros Systems, Inc. As Apatar representative I would like to thank you for your article.

If you work with database connectors, at the moment Apatar reads >100 000 records for less that 30 seconds. We made a lot of improvements and preparing a new build for our users where quite a lot of new features would be available. (current build 1.12.3 doesn't have yet the above improvement).

Anyway again thanx for your article.

Regards,

Sergei

Did you improve specifically

Did you improve specifically SugarCRM connector performance?

Hi, we improved performance

Hi, we improved performance of all JDBC based connectors, i.e. mainly database connectors and operations. SugarCRM connector get records/results via SOAP and as far as you know this protocol is not so fast. However if you connect to your SugarCRM via MySQL or MSSQL connector (depends on which database you have at the back end) you will see the performance.
